About
Archimedes School offers one-on-one math tutoring in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calc, and calculus, along with one-on-one science tutoring in biology, chemistry, and physics, including Honors and AP. It also offers SAT test prep with dedicated Math and Reading & Writing teachers, full Digital SAT diagnostics, and a customized study plan, plus ACT, AP, ISEE, and SSAT preparation. Other programs include hands-on coding and AI, humanities work in writing, reading comprehension, and history, and live online tutoring over Zoom or Teams.

- Summer Math Fundamentals — Grades 5-12 · Monday through Friday, 2 hours/day · $799–$899 per week · 2-week intensives; six course tracks across four scheduling blocks.
- SAT Summer Bootcamp — Rising 11th and 12th graders · Two 2-hour sessions/week · $1,699 · 6-week intensive small-group SAT prep.
- College Essay Workshop — Rising seniors · 2 sessions/week, 1.5 hours each · $720 · 4-week workshop for a final 650-word Common App personal statement.
- Coding, Robotics & AI for Middle School — Ages 11 to 14 · M-F, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM · $699 · 1-week intensive covering Scratch programming fundamentals, robotics, and AI ethics.
- AI for Teens — Grades 9-12 · Mon/Tue/Wed at 10 AM or 4 PM PT · $199 · 5-week live online course.

About the provider
Archimedes School has been serving students since 2012. Its mission statement is, "Confident learners, one concept at a time." The school lists 16 experienced instructors, each specialized in their subject area, and notes a 1500+ SAT Guarantee. It serves students across the Eastside, including Redmond, Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, Woodinville, and Bothell, and the broader Lake Washington School District.
Free 20-minute consultation. All sessions are 55 minutes. Annual administrative fee: $48 per student. Tuition and fees must be paid in full before the first class. Late payment fee: $45. Returned check fee: $45. Refer a friend and receive a $50 credit toward your next tuition. Fees for proctored tests start at $60 per test, per student. We do not enroll students younger than 5th grade.
