About

Emerald City Gymnastics Academy Summer Camp includes warm up games, stretching, instructional gymnastics on vault, bars, beam, floor, and trampoline, and time on a ninja course. Camp days also include snack break, arts and crafts, outdoor activities, open gym, and lunch. Each week features a Wednesday in-house field trip with guests such as a petting zoo with bunnies and pony rides, the Reptile Woman, the Parrot Lady, Dino Crew Entertainment NW, Super Bubble Party, Bunny Farm, Ponies, and Reptiles.

• Schedule: Half-day options run 9:00am–1:00pm or 12:00pm–4:00pm, and all-day camp runs 9:00am–4:00pm, with prices set per student per week and a weekly in-house field trip every Wednesday of camp.
• Price: Half day is $350.00 per member per week, all day is $600.00 per member per week, June 30–July 3 is a 4-day camp prorated to $280 for half day and $480 for full day, non-members pay a $48.00 annual registration/member fee, and Summer Camp is non-refundable and non-transferable to other programs at ECGA.

Snack and lunch are parent provided, and camp may be rescheduled as long as there is space available, it is at least one month before the start date, and the new date is within summer 2025. Summer Camp 2025 registration is open, and the program is accepting partial week enrollment for June 23–27. The camp takes place at Emerald City Gymnastics Academy and uses equipment including vault, bars, beam, floor, trampoline, and the ninja course, with supervised free play and independent work in the gym.

The Emerald City Gymnastics Academy leadership team includes Sandy Flores (Co-Owner & Program Manager), Susan Townsend (Co-Owner), Sarah Flores (Co-Head Women’s Dev Team Director, Developmental Director & Birthday Party Coordinator), Jenna Hamala-Smith (Co-Head Women’s Dev Team Director and Recreational Director), Oscar Panades Erra (Men’s Development Program Director), Cheyenne Kosse (Xcel Program Director), Melinda Erickson (Xcel Program Co-Director), Tami Estepa (Recreational Director), Kyra Johnson-Benner (Recreational Operations Director and Recreational Director), Danielle Desrosiers (Preschool Program Director), Betty Reed (Tramp and Tumbling Supervisor and West Facility Floor Supervisor), Gavin Fleming (Boy’s Recreational Director and Club Director), and Carolyn Bookholt (West Facility Floor Supervisor). The stated mission of Emerald City Gymnastics Academy is: “We exist to make a difference in the lives of children. Our goal is to develop happy, healthy and confident athletes! The development of self esteem is primary towards that goal. When fun and individual achievement are combined, learning and self esteem SOAR!”
