About

Emerald City Gymnastics Academy Summer Camp includes warm up games, stretching, instructional gymnastics, and time on vault, bars, beam, floor, and trampoline. Campers also use a ninja course, do arts & crafts, take part in outdoor activities, enjoy open gym, and have a weekly in-house field trip with special guests such as a petting zoo with bunnies and pony rides, the Reptile Woman, the Parrot Lady, and Dino Crew Entertainment NW. Snack breaks and lunch are parent provided.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Half-day options from 9:00am–1:00pm or 12:00pm–4:00pm, and all-day options from 9:00am–4:00pm, with prices per student per week
• Price: Half day $375.00/member per week; all day $650.00/member per week; non-members pay a $48.00 annual registration fee; Summer Camp is non-refundable and non-transferable to other programs at ECGA

Summer Camp 2026 registration is open, with weekly sessions scheduled for June 22–26, June 29–July 3, July 6–10, July 13–17, July 20–24, July 27–31, August 3–7, August 10–14, August 17–21, and August 24–28. Every Wednesday of camp, a special guest comes to the gym for the weekly in-house field trip. Families may reschedule camp as long as there is space available, it is at least one month before the start date, and the new date is within summer 2026.

The Emerald City Gymnastics Academy leadership team includes co-owners Sandy Flores (also Program Manager) and Susan Townsend, along with program and area directors such as Sarah Flores, Jenna Hamala-Smith, Oscar Panades Erra, Cheyenne Kosse, Melinda Erickson, Tami Estepa, Kyra Johnson-Benner, Danielle Desrosiers, Betty Reed, Gavin Fleming, and Carolyn Bookholt. The stated mission is to make a difference in the lives of children, with a goal of developing happy, healthy, and confident athletes, and a focus on self-esteem through fun and individual achievement. Emerald City Gymnastics Academy states that it has no tolerance for any abuse, including bullying, hazing, and physical, mental, or sexual misconduct, and provides information on contacting USA Gymnastics, local authorities, and the U.S. Center for SafeSport to report abuse involving this facility or its employees or athletes.
