Ballard Little League offers a range of baseball and softball activities, including Tee Ball, Spring Baseball, Spring Softball, Challenger, Summer League, and Summer Ball. The program also includes All Stars, Baseball All Stars Tryouts, AAA and Majors Baseball Assessments, Training, an Umpire Program with Junior Umpires, the Ballard Little League Jamboree, and BLL Picture Day and Hit-A-Thon.
Ballard Little League has been bringing families together since 1954 and is in its 71st season of Ballard Little League. The stated mission is that Ballard Little League exists not only to teach the game, but to help kids grow through sportsmanship, teamwork, and healthy competit. The program offers financial scholarships and uses a Little League Age Boundary Map and Residence Eligibility. Families can make payments through a Venmo account at @Ballard-LittleLeague and can purchase hats, shirts, hoodies, and other BLL branded spirit wear through an online fan store and Ballard Little League Spirit Wear Store. Summer Ball is described as being designed to be flexible with no weekend commitment. The program also invites participants to represent Ballard Little League in the Syttende Mai parade on May 17 as part of a Ballard community tradition.
