Boyer Children’s Clinic offers Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT) services for children from birth to three, along with at-home and on-site physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy. It also provides education services through play and interactions around the child’s interests, plus a Bridge Program for children ages 34 1/2 to 48 months that includes service coordination, developmental screenings, individualized early childhood education, and immediate access to therapies.

  • Bridge Program — 34 1/2 to 48 months · Provides service coordination, developmental screenings, individualized early childhood education, and immediate access to therapies; services are temporary, lasting up to 6 months.

About the provider

Boyer was organized in 1942 and has provided services since 1942. Its leadership team includes Megan Beers, Ph.D., Chief Executive Officer; Aster Berhane, Bridge Service Coordinator; and Ellen Kuo, chief development officer. Boyer is supported by philanthropic donors and community volunteers, and the Bridge Program was created in partnership between King County Developmental Disabilities & Early Childhood Supports Division and the Seattle Department of Education and Early Learning.

Services are offered where children live, learn, and play. All Bridge Program services, including interpreters, are delivered at no cost to families. Boyer ensures equitable access regardless of a family’s financial circumstances and inclusive of cultural/linguistic diversity.
