Early Childhood Education

Early Childhood Education is offered through North Seattle College. The program includes stackable certificates, an Associate of Applied Sciences (AAS) degree, and a Bachelor of Applied Science pathway, and students in the program or taking classes for their own professional development must have access to early childhood settings and preschool-aged children for at least three hours per week. Observations of children and their environments are a required part of the program.

Multiple pathways are available for students with limited English proficiency, including I-BEST and classes taught in Somali, Arabic, Spanish, and Oromo.
