Girl Scouts Woodland Park Day Camp
Woodland Park, 1000 N 50th St, Seattle, WA 98103
About
Girl Scouts Woodland Park Day Camp is a full 5-day camp with a theme called “Ride the Wave.” Camp only happens because of volunteers, and camp capacity is based on the number of volunteers.
• Ages: 3–18 years old
• Schedule: Full 5-day camp, Monday through Friday, 9:30 am–3:30 pm, July 6–July 10, 2025
• Price: Registration rates are $175 for Campers, $150 for PAT, and $75 for PA. Full-time volunteers (coming 4+ full days to camp) receive reduced rates of $25 per camper, PA, or boy/son/tagalong and $50 for PATs. Refunds are available up to April 15, 2026, less a $20 handling fee; after April 15, 2026, refunds are not available.
The camp plans to accommodate a unit for preschoolers through those entering kindergarten in fall 2026, only on the days a parent or guardian is volunteering at camp. The camp can accommodate volunteers with male children entering grades 1–8 in fall 2026, and boys must pre-register and can attend on the days their parent or guardian is volunteering at camp; boy unit activities may be on-site or may include outings. For summer camp purposes, the grade used is the grade the child will be in when they start school in fall 2026. Early registration is available to families with a parent or guardian registering to volunteer for at least two full days at camp, as well as to Program Aides (PAs), Program Aides in Training (PATs), and their siblings. Vaccination and safety requirements will be based on Girl Scouts of Western Washington guidelines in place for the camp dates.
The camp leadership team includes Co-Directors Alison Bazeley (“Pink”) and Vonita Francisco (“Ms Frizzle”). Other leadership roles include PA Advisor Cindy Nevins (“Thumper”), PAT Advisor Kara Golgert (“Kazoo”), Program Directors Sarah Fletcher (“Latte”) and Margot Winter (“Marshmallow”), Business Manager and Registration lead Carolyn Foster (“Checkers”), Volunteer Coordinators Vonita Francisco (“Ms Frizzle”) and Lisa Rivera (“Cookie”), Lead First Aider Cassy Showalter (“Moonbeam”), and additional team members supporting program, scheduling, communications, training, and camper and volunteer placement.
