Campers learn from the University of Washington coaching staff and players, along with other hired coaches and Husky coaching staff members, and some sessions are described as the University of Washington Winter Skills Camp alongside the University of Washington Baseball coaching staff. Husky Baseball Camps are sponsored and run by Bow Down LLC, and are not sponsored or run by the University of Washington, and the coach and assistants are not employees or agents of the University in operating the camp. Camps and showcases are open to any and all entrants, limited only by age and/or availability, and in accordance with NCAA rules they are open to all players and are prohibited from giving free or reduced camps to prospects.

The camp is held rain or shine, with an athletic trainer present during all activity, water and Gatorade provided continually throughout the camp day, and participants supervised from registration until dismissal. January Skills Camp is limited to 30 participants, campers are grouped by age, no metal spikes are allowed, and there is space for parents or guardians to watch camp. Check-in opens 30 minutes prior to the start of camp at the front gate of Husky Ballpark, primary communication is via email, and all-day parking is available in the E-1 parking lot with payment required upon entry.

Families are told that campers should bring sunscreen, a bat, helmet, batting gloves, glove, baseball pants, hat, cleats and non-cleated tennis shoes or turf shoes, and that catchers should bring their own gear and label all personal items. For the January Skills Camp, each camper must bring his own baseball equipment, including bat, batting gloves, helmet, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary, and no metal spikes are allowed. Campers need to bring their own lunch, and a snack bar with treats and refreshments is available, with the option to pre-purchase a $20 Snack Bar Punch Card or use cash to buy items.

Husky Baseball Camps notes that there are no refunds and only camp credit if a family cancels and notifies the camp within seven days of the start of camp. The program also offers a Driveline Assessment with comparison to collegiate and professional baseball players and information on mechanical and physical profiles. Husky Baseball Camps may be held at the University of Washington and use some of the University’s facilities.
