About

North Seattle Baseball Academy offers professional, individualized baseball training with weekly 1-hour skill-training sessions. The program includes skill-building in a fun, low-pressure, learning environment and also offers private training.

• Ages: 9–12 years old
• Schedule: Weekly 1-hour skill-training sessions; upcoming session dates are on the registration page
• Price: Low player-to-instructor ratios are extremely valuable and therefore somewhat expensive, but we have done our best to make this program as affordable as possible. Scholarships are available.

Instruction is led by Graylin Derke, a professional instructor and coach for the North Seattle Rainiers select teams. The program is organized by North Seattle Baseball, a non-profit organization that runs this and other baseball programs in the North Seattle area. North Seattle Baseball is a certified non-profit all-volunteer organization run by parents and other volunteers who want to positively influence children in the community through baseball. North Seattle Baseball & Softball Association's mission is to teach the fundamental skills of baseball and softball and to use the league as a way to provide personal growth for players and help build communities. The program features professional training at an affordable price, low player-to-coach ratios, is open to all players 9–12 years of age regardless of skill level, can be a stepping-stone toward select programs like the North Seattle Rainiers, and serves as an alternative to select teams for younger ages. Scholarships are available, and private training is always available.
