About

Youth Sports Leagues at YMCA of Greater Seattle are offered through YMCA of Greater Seattle locations and facilities, which include multiple branches and camps. The program is part of a broader membership structure that connects to youth sports along with other activities.

With membership, families have access to all 14 Greater Seattle area YMCA locations and to 2,600 Ys across the United States. Membership includes discounts on youth sports, as well as on swim lessons and day camp. Kids Zone Activity Centers are available for children while members work out. Members also have access to YMCA360 virtual classes, group fitness classes including Les Mills, fitness equipment that includes Peloton Bikes, and a downloadable YMCA360 App with a digital membership card, schedules, on-demand and live fitness videos, and live booking for personal training. Families can try the Y with 3 free visits in one week. Volunteer opportunities include coaching and helping with youth programs.

The YMCA of Greater Seattle states that it is more than a swim and gym and is a nonprofit on a mission to serve all youth, families, and communities. The organization reports over 148 years of dedication to kids, families, and the community and references 150 Years for All and over 150 years of history. The Y states that it meets critical needs in communities and that it actively promotes a culture free from bias and injustice, with a focus on removing institutional and systemic barriers that result in oppression and racism. It also states an equity and justice focus, being accountable to marginalized communities for creating equitable and sustainable environments where social justice is included in every part of its programs.
