All sales for Summer Surf ‘N Splash Camp are final with no refunds, make-up days, or prorate for missed days, and guests may not split days between weeks of camp. Participants must be ages 7–14 years, and all campers must be signed in and out by an adult daily. For FlowRider use, girls’ one-piece swimsuits and boys’ drawstring shorts are recommended, and campers are asked to bring a swimsuit, water bottle, two towels, a lock for the locker room, and an optional swimsuit cover, while leaving jewelry at home. All riders must complete the online waiver process before the first day of camp, and FlowRider requirements state that guests must be at least 42 inches tall to ride the boogie boards and at least 52 inches tall and less than 250 pounds to ride the stand-up boards.
The Snohomish Aquatic Center has been operating since its grand opening in January 2014. The center is owned and operated by the Snohomish School District and serves as the home pool for Glacier Peak High School and Snohomish High School swim teams, as well as local club teams and a U.S. Master’s Swim team. The leadership team includes Aquatic Center Supervisor Chris Bensen, Aquatics Manager Juleah Duffield, Facility Manager Michael Jones, Guest Service Manager Mary McCall, and Snohomish School District Communications Manager Ashley Choquette. The Snohomish School District states that its mission is to create an educational community that ignites a passion for learning where every student is known and empowered. One community member, Bill Fulton, describes the facility as an aquatic facility rather than a swimming pool and notes that the possibilities it offers kids and adults in the district and community are tremendous.
