About the provider
The program is led by Sensei Matthew Thomas and Sensei Laura Thomas. Matthew Thomas has been on a karate journey spanning over 50 years and is a 6th Degree Black Belt. Laura Thomas has 35 years of martial arts training and is a 3rd Degree Black Belt. The program rests on the teachings of Gichin Funakoshi and upholds discipline, concentration, and persistence. Matthew Thomas is also a Karate instructor within Whitworth University's Physical Education program.
Provides a safe and supportive environment. Welcomes both new and seasoned practitioners. Laura Thomas specializes in self-defense and awareness tailored to women and children.
