SYSA Soccer offers seasonal soccer programs that include Spring Soccer League, Spring Rookie Soccer, Summer Soccer Camps, a Spring Soccer Tournament, Fall Soccer League, Fall Rookie Soccer, Winter Soccer League, and a Winter Soccer Academy. These soccer activities are part of the broader SYSA sports offerings for children and teens.

SYSA Soccer is part of an organization that has been contributing to youth sports in the Greater Spokane region for over 50 years and began as a junior football organization in 1966. SYSA’s mission is “To provide sports activities for all youth where everyone plays, develops skills, is taught good sportsmanship, and learns the value of being a team player.” SYSA’s “Where Every Kid’s a Star” philosophy states that every one of the young athletes gets the chance to play at least half the game, and with SYSA, everyone has the chance to play, no matter his or her skill level. Over 12,000 participants from ages 4 to 18 take part in SYSA sports programs and camps across several sports, including soccer. SYSA organizes over 1,000 adult volunteers every year as coaches, committee and board members, and community helpers. SYSA states that it is committed to fostering an inclusive environment where every athlete feels valued, respected, and empowered, celebrates the diversity of its teams, and aims to create a safe and equitable space where all players can thrive.
