YMCA Camp Reed offers a camp experience in a safe wilderness setting that follows the YMCA’s core values of respect, honesty, responsibility, and caring. The program focuses on active participation in unique challenges and building new relationships as part of its mission.
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
YMCA Camp Reed’s mission is to enhance personal growth, Christian values, and a sense of community in a safe wilderness setting, and to transform ideals into lasting behaviors through active participation in unique challenges and new relationships. The leadership team includes Senior Director Carly “Calypso” Garras, Summer Director Rita “Costa” Ritter, Program Director Abby “Calico” Chet, Challenge Course Coordinator Samantha “Sonic” Beemer, Rental Host Nicki “Doodle” Watt, and Property Manager Bob “BammBamm” Watt. YMCA Camp Reed is accredited by the American Camp Association. Vehicles are only permitted in the parking lot at Camp Reed, and families are asked not to drive past the Lodge; if special assistance is needed, the camp requests to be informed in advance.
