Kids and Youth Programs at Museum of Glass includes By the Furnace: Hot Shop Experience, Glass Tile Workshop – Full Fusing, Glass Tile Workshop – Tack Fusing, Glass Dish Workshop – Slumping, Mosaic Workshop, Fused Pendant Workshop, Kids Design Glass, and Family Day Activities. By the Furnace: Hot Shop Experience runs throughout the day from 10am–5pm and costs $95. Glass Tile Workshop – Full Fusing, Glass Tile Workshop – Tack Fusing, Glass Dish Workshop – Slumping, and Mosaic Workshop each cost $45, and Fused Pendant Workshop costs $25; reservations are strongly encouraged for the Education Studio workshops.

About the provider
The Museum has also ignited the creativity of children through innovative programs such as Kids Design Glass, Science of Art, and Junior Curator Academy.
Workshops have limited availability and are usually announced a month ahead of time. In late March, the Museum’s traditional gallery spaces closed to accommodate for construction. Museum of Glass workshops will continue to be offered without disruption during construction. Reservations are required for By the Furnace: Hot Shop Experience and are non-refundable. Reservations are strongly encouraged for the Education Studio workshops.
