About

Summer @ Annie Wright offers weeklong Arts & Athletics camps for students entering Grades 1–6 in the fall. For each Monday–Friday session, campers can attend a morning block from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, an afternoon block from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, or both for a full day from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Drop-off and check-in begin at 8:30 am, and the average counselor-to-camper ratio is 10:1.

• Ages: 6–11 years old
• Schedule: Weeklong Monday–Friday sessions from June 22 to August 7, with half-day and full-day options
• Price: Payment plans are available to families who register before May 1.

Full-day participation is available, and lunch supervision is provided for campers enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions. A home-packed lunch is required because there is no on-campus food service during the summer months. Campers are asked to bring labeled items such as sunscreen, an extra set of clothes, comfortable closed-toe athletic shoes, snacks (without nuts preferred), and a swimsuit and towel for swim camp, while certain clothing items, open-toed shoes, weapons or replicas, and apparel with specific types of messaging are not permitted. Cell phones and other technology are discouraged and, if brought, must stay in backpacks and can only be used with adult permission, and there is no uniform requirement for summer programs.

The foundation of Summer @ Annie Wright is stated as respect for learning, respect for others, and respect for the place in which one learns, and rules and regulations are kept to a minimum so that actions follow general principles of positive behavior. Annie Wright Schools were established in 1884 and serve students from age three through Grade 12, with co-ed Lower and Middle Schools in Preschool through Grade 8 and separate Upper Schools for boys and girls offering day and boarding options in Grades 9–12. Annie Wright is an International Baccalaureate World School delivering IB programs in every division and is noted as the #1 Private K–12 School in Washington State. The Summer @ Annie Wright program is part of the Arts & Athletics office, and leadership includes Ruby Higginson, Arts & Athletics Assistant.
