Emerald City Football Club describes itself as Seattle's premier soccer club since 1979 and notes 40 years in the Seattle community. The club states that it is “more than just a soccer club, we are soccer with a conscience” and “We are ‘Soccer for Life.’” According to its mission, the club helps youth soccer players of all abilities develop life-long skills, build friendships, and have fun while playing in a competitive environment, and it provides support, flexibility, and structure to make select soccer accessible to families of all backgrounds and financial abilities.
The leadership team includes Patrick Negron (President), John Hamel (Director of Coaching), Derrek Falor (Technical Director), Lucas Isler (Director of Operations), CJ Hamel (Development Director), and Amy Wakeman (Bookkeeper / Registrar).
