About
Kids Art Club and Camps offers painting classes, watercolor workshops, and a variety of art projects, crafts, and activities. Kids create at least one project or piece during every art session, and during the weekly themed summer Art Camp they go home each day with a different art project or piece.
• Ages: 6–11 years old
• Schedule: Kids Art Club meets one day a week for 4 consecutive sessions during the calendar school year, with current options on Tuesdays or Wednesdays from 3:30pm–5:30pm; Kids Summer Camp and Weekly Summer Art Camp run Monday–Friday in weekly themed sessions, including a 9:00am–noon option and a 9:30am–12:00pm option.
Art Studio 27, which runs Kids Art Club and Camps, is owned by Angie Capps. Art Studio 27 was previously at another location for 9 years and is expanding its space by joining two spaces to provide more room. The studio also offers Sip & Paint classes for all experience levels and private art parties for events such as bachelorette parties, baby showers, birthdays, and co-worker team gatherings. The stated mission is: “I believe that every person has the ability to create… my job is to inspire you, and help you realize what you never thought was possible.”
