SHAPE NW Camps offers activity-based camps where kids play sports, stay active, and take part in Lego challenges, fun with food projects, art, and science experiments. Campers also go on challenging hikes through the gorge, check out waterfalls, enjoy easy, fun hikes, and join kayaking trips that include water safety and fun water games. Everyday, campers head out to explore natural environments around Vancouver, Ridgefield and Portland.

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
SHAPE NW Camps includes Adventure Camps for 4th–8th grades and Activity Based Camps for PK–3rd grades. The program teaches sports, games, nutrition, and science experiments through weekly themes and introduces kids to a variety of life sports at an early age. SHAPE NW states that “Shaping Kids Inside & Out” is its motto, with a focus on both physical health and character development, and also states “EVERY KID ACTIVE EVERY KID PARTICIPATES EVERY KID SUCCEEDS.” SHAPE NW exists to empower youth to actively explore the world around them while instilling confidence and character in a safe and fun environment. The outdoor and wilderness curriculum teaches practical skills when exploring the outside world and creates a genuine knowledge, love and respect for the outdoors. SHAPE NW was founded in 2009 and has been located in the greater PDX and Clark County areas since 2009, and in 2017 it launched SHAPE NW Adventure Camp for older kids. The leadership team includes Gigi Thibodeaux and Paulina Thibodeaux, and the program hires staff who are qualified and have passed full background checks.
