St. Andrew Nature Preschool

St. Andrew Nature Preschool includes daily outdoor time where children play, socialize, and explore in nature, along with indoor learning centers and small groups. The daily rhythm also includes a morning circle, snack time with foods like fruit, cheese, and crackers, and once-a-week special activities such as Music with the church Music Director, Preschool Chapel with Pastor Cindy, and Godly Play with the church Youth & Family Director. Families pack their own lunches for the Lunch Bunch option.

St. Andrew Nature Preschool has been operating for 42 years and is a non-profit Christian organization welcoming students and families of all faiths and backgrounds. The program’s mission is to foster the development of the whole child through intellectual, physical, spiritual, and social emotional growth, demonstrate God’s love by honoring diversity and caring for one another and the natural world, provide a nature based learning environment based on emergent curriculum and child-led exploration and problem solving, and continuously seek and implement best practices while building relationships of collaboration, trust, and support with families and the community. The preschool is committed to anti-bias work by recognizing, celebrating, and honoring the differences in all people and families, and it has been a Nature Explore Certified Classroom since 2012.
