• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday 3:30–7:30pm; studio hours Monday–Friday 3:45–9:00pm and Saturday 9:00am–1:00pm

Dance Fusion Northwest has been in business since 2004 and is led by owner Carla Kendall-Bray. Classes are taught by highly trained, working industry instructors. The studio’s mission is to inspire each individual and instill an appreciation and love for dance and the joy of performance. It is home to the non-profit performance company and scholarship program The Fuse Dance Force.

The program presents original, theatrically based performances, including an annual original holiday production called “Christmas Stories” and an annual Spring Showcase. Dance Fusion Northwest performs in Disneyland and travels to New York, Los Angeles, and surrounding areas for advanced training, including dance conventions and workshops. It has been voted “Best of Clark County 2016.”

Local performances have included events such as The Clark County Fair, The Sausage Fest, The Portland Trailblazers, Pioneer Courthouse Square Atmospherics, The Oregon Zoo, The Festival of Trees, Discovery Walk, OSU’s Dance Against Hunger, the VA Hospital, Oktoberfest, and many local schools and retirement facilities. Dance Fusion Northwest has donated time and/or funding to organizations including The Dougy Center, The Challenge Games of Clark County, The American Cancer Society Pediatric Research, The Children’s Cancer Association, 65 Roses Cystic Fibrosis, OSU’s Dance Against Hunger, International Rett Syndrome Association, and bi-annual donations to Share House from a portion of the proceeds from Holiday and Spring performances.

Parents describe Dance Fusion Northwest as providing an amazing environment for dancers to grow, with creativity, encouragement, and technical training. Several parents note a strong sense of family and community, and mention that instructors are invested, inspiring, and create a culture that draws in both dancers and families. Testimonials highlight experiences such as a 9-year-old eagerly practicing dance throughout the day, children looking forward to the June performance, and students developing a love and passion for the performing arts. Parents also mention positive role models, life lessons, increased confidence and stage presence, and a focus on both fun and learning.
