About
Vancouver Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services – Youth Day Camps offers weekly themes with activities such as sports, outdoor games, crafts, swimming, water activities and visits from special guests. Campers also take walking trips to parks, libraries and other local attractions, and all youth day camps walk up to 1.5 miles to local parks. Families are asked to send a lunch, snack, water bottle, backpack, towel and swimsuit unless otherwise stated.
• Ages: 6–10 years old
• Schedule: Drop-off is generally available from 8 a.m., with structured activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and pick-up by 4:30 p.m.; aftercare at Marshall Camp runs from 4:30–5:30 p.m. for an additional fee.
• Price: Marshall Center Day Camp costs $220 per session for Vancouver residents and $275 per session for non-residents; aftercare costs $53 per session for Vancouver residents and $67 per session for non-residents.
Due to reductions in the City’s 2025–2026 budget, the day camps are not going on field trips that require bus transportation, but campers still go swimming and take walking trips to parks, libraries and other local attractions. Recreation camps invite participants to play, explore and build friendships, and the day camps also provide critical childcare to support working families. The program partners with ePACT Network to manage participant information in an efficient and secure way.
