Summer Programs offers summer programming that includes both fun and educational opportunities for youth in grades 1st–12th. Programs include career readiness and mental wellness support, as well as time for kids to make new friends and have fun. During the summer program, lunch and a snack are provided each day for all youth, and a copy of the menu is provided during the first week of the summer program.
• Ages: 6–17 years old
• Schedule: Summer programming begins June 25, 2026, with individual Clubhouse date ranges running through June, July, and August 2026 on weekdays.
• Price: Summer membership fees use a three-tiered sliding scale based on household income, and high school membership is free. If there is a balance on the account, youth cannot register for Summer or sign up for field trips.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington was incorporated in April 1999 and opened its first Club site on the grounds of Hazel Dell Elementary School one year later. The current Club site in the old Hazel Dell Elementary building opened in 2004 as the Clinton & Gloria John Clubhouse, and additional Club sites and teen programs opened between 2007 and 2018. Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington currently serves more than 3,000 youth annually.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington exists to empower all youth, especially those who need it most, to realize their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible community members. Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington operates in partnership with Vancouver Public Schools, and Boys & Girls Clubs of America serves young people through Club membership and community outreach across the country and on U.S. military bases throughout the world. Enrollment for Summer 2026 is first-come, first-served until Clubs reach capacity, with enrollment for returning members beginning April 13th and for new members beginning April 20th, and attending a New Family Orientation is mandatory for anyone enrolling in Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Washington for the first time. Burton Elementary Clubhouse is open to Burton Elementary families only, and Ogden Elementary Clubhouse is open to Ogden Elementary families only.
