About
Vancouver Junior Rangers focuses on competitive hockey, with players taking part in on-ice practices, physical conditioning, and dryland training. The program includes two on-ice practices per week and two games on most weekends, with some groups getting an additional 1.5 hours weekly of physical conditioning and dryland training. Tier II and B level teams play in the PNAHA or MHL League in a competitive hockey environment.
• Schedule: Two on-ice practices per week and two games most weekends
Some of the program’s teams play in leagues where weekend league games mean more games at home, no missing school, and affordable travel costs with only one overnight stay when travel is required. The program is part of the Vancouver Youth Hockey Association, a non-profit organization affiliated with the Pacific Northwest Amateur Hockey Association (PNAHA). It is described as having some of the lowest program costs in the area and the highest caliber coaching in the area.
