About
North Central Washington Volleyball Club offers volleyball activities that include NCWVBC VB summer camp, NCWVBC summer tryouts, fall tryouts, tournaments, and fundraising. Players take part in organized tryouts for different girls’ age-group teams and participate in club tournaments and fundraising events.
• Ages: 12–18 years old
• Schedule: Summer tryouts for Girls U-18, U-16, and U-14 Gold & Black Teams on Sunday, July 26, with U-18 from 11am–2pm, U-16 from 2pm–5pm, and U-14 from 5pm–8pm; fall tryouts for Boys on Sunday, September 20; U-12 and U-14 Girls on Sunday, November 8 and Tuesday, November 10; and U-16 Girls on Sunday, December 6.
USA Volleyball requires a minimum level of education for coaches in this program, which is met by completing IMPACT (Increased Mastery and Professional Application of Coaching Theory) training, and coaches are encouraged to attend CAP (Coaching Accreditation Program) Level I every few years. The club’s leadership team includes Club Director Jeff Riley, Treasurer/Assistant Director Stephanie Fuller, Administrative Secretary Jen Reyes, Sponsorship & Uniform Coordinator Flor Mendoza, Tournament Coordinator Fona Sugg-Mathena, Equipment Coordinator Eric Reyes, and Coaching Coordinator Jordan McGregor. Parents and guardians are asked to volunteer as chaperones, snack parents, and fundraising coordinators, and NCWVBC covers the cost for the volunteer chaperone parent, who must have Adult USAV/ERVA membership and a background check. NCWVBC board members are volunteers and do not get paid, and an NCWVBC Fan & Athlete Store is listed as coming soon.
