About

Boscobel Summer Recreation Programs include activities such as softball, baseball, flag football, library story hour, swimming lessons, volleyball, men’s softball, co-ed badminton, swim lessons, water aerobics, basketball, and tennis. The programs also connect families with outdoor options such as picnicking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, tubing, ice skating, hunting, bicycling, snowmobiling, trout fishing, and hiking. Participants are responsible for injuries that are incidental to the activity because the Boscobel Recreation Department does not provide individual accidental liability insurance.

• Price: There is a $30 fee to reserve use of park shelters; the Gene Larsen Memorial Shelter is $50.

Summer recreation programs are available for people of all ages in the City of Boscobel, and youth programs are open to all students living in the Boscobel School District. Youth programs have different resident and non-resident costs, and adult programs have different residency requirements and costs depending on the program. The programs are led by the Recreation Director, Cameron Loos. The Boscobel Chamber of Commerce promotes these community programs along with tourism and outdoor activities. Boscobel Utilities has been providing energy services to the community since 1899.
