About
Door Creek Junior Golf Program includes junior golf lessons, games and competitions both on and off the course, and golf swing activities. Participants take part in activities that improve balance, agility, and hand-eye coordination, as well as contests and instruction. Lost Creek Pioneer Camps include a daily contest, lunch, and 9 holes of golf on the Lost Creek executive course.
• Ages: 4–15 years old
• Schedule: Lost Creek Explorer Classes run as a 5-week program with 40-minute classes, and Lost Creek Pioneer Camps run as a 3-day camp from 9:00am to 1:00pm daily.
• Price: Executive Course: Monday–Friday open to noon, save $3 and play for $11.
Lost Creek Explorer Classes are tailored to the youngest players with typical ages 4–10, with half of each class focused on balance, agility, and hand-eye coordination and the other half relating these activities to golf and the golf swing. Lost Creek Pioneer Camps have typical ages 9–15 and place a strong emphasis on stance, grip, posture, full swing, rules, and etiquette, and state that by the last day of camp each participant will see improvement in his or her golf game. All junior golf options in the program offer weekly instruction, and the intermediate program provides both instruction and playing options.
Junior golfers in the program learn golf fundamentals from PGA Professionals. Door Creek Golf Course offers a Junior Pass that allows juniors 17 and under to play golf throughout the season, and all kids 15 and under with a paid adult golf for free any day, anytime on the executive course. The executive course is a 9-hole, par-30 course that is shorter than the championship course and is described as a great place for beginners to learn.
