Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley offers activities that include DIY STEM, Digital Literacy, Money Matters, Project Learn, and Power Hour. These activities are part of the program’s regular offerings for members.

• Ages: 7–18 years old

The mission of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need the program most, to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The organization serves youth and teens from 2nd grade through age 18 and works with parents and families, local clubs, volunteers, donors, corporate partners, schools, and non-profit organizations. Its programs are focused on Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

The program includes academic reinforcement programming to curb learning loss and uses a relationship-based approach with trained staff and purposeful interactions with members. Staff receive additional training around fostering a safe environment and conduct daily screening for emotional well-being, and the organization states that environments are trauma-informed. The organization states a commitment to promoting safe, positive, and inclusive environments for all members, staff, and volunteers, and describes its spaces as safe and inclusive with caring mentors and innovative programs.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley lists a leadership team that includes a Board of Directors Executive Committee with President Marcela Tapia, Vice President Seth Sundeen, Past President Lauren Evans, Treasurer Ryan Balts, Secretary Shelly Pryse, and Member at Large Mark Oldenberg. Center Directors include Jess Weiss for the Eau Claire Center, Rebekah Kundert for the Black River Falls Center, Jamie Hrastich for the Chippewa Falls Center, and Anne Brooks for the Altoona Center.
