Girls Basketball Camps & Clinics offers 3 Day Skills Camp 1 and 3 Day Skills Camp 2 for girls entering grades K-7. It also offers the Shooting Camp, Ball-Handling/Dribbling Camp, Advanced Skills Camp, and Position Scoring Camp for girls entering grades 5-12. The camps include fundamental skills and leadership instruction, motivational sessions, contests, Blugold Drills to music, shooting form, footwork and mechanics, dribbling skills, scoring, passing, decision making, 1-on-1 skills, and work on guard or post position skills.
Programs
- 3 Day Skills Camp 1 — Open to girls entering grades K-7 · 1-4pm daily · $135 · Check-in: 12:30-12:55pm. Check-out: 4:00pm. Includes three days of fundamental skills and leadership instruction, motivational sessions, contests and Blugold Drills to music.
- Shooting Camp — Open to girls entering grades 5-12 · 12p-5pm · $100 · Check-in: 11:30-11:55am. Check-out: 5:00pm. Focuses on proper shooting form, footwork and mechanics.
- Ball-Handling/Dribbling Camp — Open to girls entering grades 5-12 · 9am-3pm · $100 · Check-in: 8:30-8:55am. Check-out: 3:00pm. Focuses on improving dribbling skills, scoring, passing, decision making and 1-on-1 skills.
- Advanced Skills Camp — Open to girls entering grades 5-12 · 9am-3pm · $100 · Check-in: 8:30-8:55am. Check-out: 3:00pm. Designed to give players the skills and knowledge necessary to become a high-level scorer.
- Position Scoring Camp — Open to girls entering grades 5-12 · 9am-3pm · $100 · Check-in: 8:30-8:55am. Check-out: 3:00pm. Focuses specifically on the essential skills to play either the guard or post position.
- 3 Day Skills Camp 2 — Open to girls entering grades K-7 · 1-4pm daily · $135 · Check-in: 12:30-12:55pm. Check-out: 4:00pm. Includes three days of fundamental skills and leadership instruction, motivational sessions, contests and Blugold Drills to music.

About the provider
The camp philosophy is to help players of all ages and abilities improve their game, become better team players, develop leadership skills, and have a meaningful and fun camp experience. A head high school girls' basketball coach said that girls who attended the camp were impressed by their new skills and confidence on the court, and that the program helped shape them into strong, young female athletes.
