Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin Programs (FREEDOM, DISCOVER, CARE, and Chatter Matters Communication Camp) include year-round activities, events, and opportunities for children with physical or developmental special needs and their families. Through the core programs FREEDOM, DISCOVER, CARE, and the Chatter Matters Communication Camp, the organization sponsors activities, events, and opportunities for children in need to pursue a limitless future. These programs improve a child’s physical and emotional health and well-being, build confidence and self-esteem, strengthen resilience, and create opportunities to build a brighter future for all children.

Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin was established in 1935. Through the generosity of the community, the organization has raised nearly $30 million to support children throughout Wisconsin since its inception. Each of the programs is supported by donors and community partners, and all of Variety’s programs are provided regardless of ability to pay. The organization’s mission is to enrich the lives of children with physical or developmental special needs and their families.
