Variety – the Children’s Charity of Wisconsin Programs includes the FREEDOM Program, DISCOVER Program, CARE Program, and Chatter Matters Communication Camp. The FREEDOM Program funding includes specialized adaptive bicycles, walkers, wheelchairs, therapeutic strollers, and other devices, and it also funds swimming lessons, driving lessons, dance or art lessons, sports team fees, specialty camps, and equine-assisted therapy. The DISCOVER Program sponsors free events and activities throughout the year where children and their families can connect, discover new friends, and socialize through casual experiences. Chatter Matters Communication Camp serves children with special needs who use assistive communication devices, and additional family members, including siblings up to age 16, are welcome.
