Mother's Day Out Preschool

Mother's Day Out Preschool is an outreach program of Community United Methodist Church. The preschool experience is structured to support each child’s individual social, emotional, spiritual, physical, and cognitive development. A copy of the licensing rules is available for review in the office.

Mother's Day Out was established in 1967. It is a non-profit program licensed by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families. The program is overseen by The Advisory Board, which is made up of church members, the Mother’s Day Out Preschool Director, Mother’s Day Out Preschool staff, and Mother’s Day Out Preschool parents. As caregivers and educators, the stated mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment that supports children’s exploration, discovery, creativity, and lifelong learning, based on the philosophy that children learn through play and are born ready to learn. The program states that it consistently works to create learning opportunities that include physical, cognitive, social, and spiritual growth with Christian experiences in a safe, stimulating, and encouraging environment.
