About
Kettle Moraine YMCA Day Camp includes activities where campers create arts and crafts and explore science and technology. Campers are grouped in Traditional Camp Units called Explorers, Voyagers, and Navigators, as well as Sports and Specialty Camp Adventurers units, with activities organized within these groups.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm, from June 8, 2026 to August 28, 2026 (varies by location)
Traditional Camp Units include Explorers for ages 5–6 years old, Voyagers for ages 6–8 years old, and Navigators for ages 9–12 years old, with Explorers sometimes including some 7-year-olds due to Jr. Specialty Camps. Sports and Specialty Camp Units include Sports Camp Adventurers for ages 6–10 years old and Specialty Camp Adventurers for ages 8–12 years old. A CIT program is available for those who have completed 6th grade and are 12 years old, who are eligible to attend as a camper or as a CIT. Unit camp structures are primarily used at Feith, Grafton, and Silverbrook locations. Campers take part in physically active programs and spend time in an outdoor environment. The Kettle Moraine YMCA states that its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The leadership team for day camp includes Jason Heuer, Senior Director of School Age & Day Camp for the West Washington Branch, and Ben Breuer, Day Camp Director for the Feith Family Ozaukee Branch. The program is connected with multiple school districts, including Northern Ozaukee, Grafton, Port Washington/Saukville, Cedarburg, West Bend, Holy Hill Area, and Kewaskum through on-site and bussed day camp locations.
