Bridge for Kids

Bridge for Kids is offered through the Greendale Park & Recreation Department. The department offers before and after school care and full day care at all three elementary schools for children 5 years of age (as of September 1 of the current year) and older. The program is part of the department’s child care options that are available year-round for families.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The Greendale Park and Recreation Department states that its mission is to provide a variety of programs for youth and adults, including cultural, enrichment, art, leisure, fitness, instructional classes, senior adult activities, aquatic activities, sports programs, and year-round child care opportunities for families, while maintaining a financial self-supporting status. The department lists Ryan Broderick as Director, Kelly Schmidt as Recreation Supervisor, Alexandra Gates as Administrative Assistant, and Debra Kanitz as Childcare Director. The program notes that it serves the Canterbury, College Park, and Highland View communities.
