Bridge for Kids and Care 4 Kids is part of the Greendale Park & Recreation Department’s child care offerings. The program is connected to before and after school care and full day care that the department offers at all three elementary schools for children 5 years of age (as of September 1 of the current year) and older. Bridge for Kids serves Canterbury, College Park, and Highland View.

• Ages: 5–12 years old
• Schedule: Office hours Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The Greendale Park & Recreation Department provides year-round child care opportunities for families. The department’s mission is to offer programs that include cultural, enrichment, and art opportunities for youth and adults; leisure, fitness, and instructional classes and programs for youth and adults; senior adult activities; aquatic activities; sports programs; and child care opportunities while maintaining a financially self-supporting status. The program’s listed leadership team includes Ryan Broderick as Director, Kelly Schmidt as Recreation Supervisor, Alexandra Gates as Administrative Assistant, and Debra Kanitz as Childcare Director.
