Southwest Aquatic Team offers competitive swimming, swim lessons, and a learn-to-swim program called Swim America. The program includes specific training groups such as an 8 & Under program, Age Group program, Junior program, Senior program, and a Masters program for adult athletes. SWAT is perennially one of the top competitive swimming programs in Wisconsin and has a place for participants ranging from beginners to Olympic Trial qualifiers.

Southwest Aquatic Team has been a registered USA Swimming team for over 40 years and originated in Greenfield, Wisconsin. Its mission is “Empowering swimmers of all ages and abilities to become the best they can be through continued personal and athletic growth.” The program states values of grit, sportsmanship, teamwork, being growth oriented, and enjoyment, and notes that its coaching staff provides a structured, disciplined, encouraging, safe, and healthy environment. The team also states a goal of helping athletes develop characteristics such as confidence, respect, discipline, and dedication that will help them be successful in all areas of life.
