Holmen Parks & Recreation Youth Programs include activities such as Youth Soccer, Indoor Youth Soccer, T-Ball, Baseball – HYBPAI, Softball – Youth Girls Fast Pitch, Youth Basketball, Wrestling Club, Tennis, Middle School Tennis, Track & Field, Volleyball (Grades 3-6), Holmen Impact Volleyball, Volleyball – Girls High School League, Flag Football (Grades 1-2), Flag Football (Grades 3-6), Soccer – Co-Ed (Grades 1-9), and Tornado Youth Hockey. The program also offers Swimming Lessons, a Swim Team, Lifeguard Certification Courses, Aquatic Fitness Classes, Log Rolling Classes, and access to the Deer Wood Park Ice Rink and Hockey – Try for Free. Additional options include Nature Art Classes and Nature Art Programs, Outdoor Skills Camp, Halfway Creek Summer Day Camp, Cake and Dessert Decorating Classes, Painting Classes, Safe Kids 101, and community events such as Concerts in the Park, Movie Under The Stars, National Night Out, Halloween Trick-or-Treat at the Library, Touch a Truck, and Santa’s Mailbox.

• Price: The Village of Holmen charges $35.00 for NSF checks. There will be a $5.00 service charge for processing refunds.

The Holmen Park & Recreation Department offers a wide variety of recreational programs and services for all ages throughout the entire year. The department also offers Adult Fitness Classes, Aquatic Fitness Classes, Adult Sand Volleyball League, Adult Co-Rec Volleyball, Adult Softball, and Pickleball. Facilities and services include Deer Wood Park Ball Field rentals, Halfway Creek Park Band Shell rental, the Deer Wood Park Ice Rink, and an Aquatic Center.

The Village of Holmen is located in northern La Crosse County and was incorporated in 1946. Village staff follow an operational mission and vision of providing excellence in the delivery of municipal services, while preserving and enhancing the image of the community, through honest, fair, ethical, accountable and fiscally responsible leadership and team dedication. The community is home to the annual Kornfest Festival and offers a series of parks, trails and comforts that are described as making the community a special place to call home.

The Holmen Parks & Recreation leadership team includes Park & Recreation Director Chris Geary and Assistant Park & Recreation Director Alex Inglett. Parks Maintenance staff are listed as Zak Kaatz, Paul Servais, Josh Rank, and Terry Long. The Aquatic Center Manager is Joseph Baranowski, noted as serving in summer only.
