Howards Grove Children's Center

Howards Grove Children's Center offers special projects and field trips as part of its daily activities. The program includes a preschool program incorporated into each morning and access to a full gymnasium. Children 7 years old and older also have access to the HG Activity Center located next door.

Howards Grove Children's Center is a State Licensed Group Childcare Center that is open year-round. It offers before and after school care with bussing directly to and from Howards Grove Elementary School. The center uses a private access security system.

Staff at Howards Grove Children's Center are certified and college educated, are CPR and first aid trained, and are trained in the Love and Logic Philosophy. The program’s mission statement says it provides physical and emotional security for each child in order to guide them towards independence, with an educational, creative learning environment based on children’s interests and developmental abilities, and a goal of helping them get along with peers and learn to communicate with care and respect for each other.
