Howards Grove Children's Center

Howards Grove Children's Center offers special projects and field trips as part of its daily activities. The program operates as a State Licensed Group Childcare Center with a preschool program incorporated into each morning and access to a full gymnasium. Children 7 years old and older also have access to the HG Activity Center located next door.

The center is open year-round and offers before and after school care with bussing directly to and from Howards Grove Elementary School. It uses a private access security system. Staff members are certified and college educated, are CPR and first aid trained, and are trained in the Love and Logic Philosophy. The stated mission is to provide physical and emotional security for each child, guide them towards independence, offer an educational and creative learning environment based on their interests and developmental abilities, and support them in getting along with peers, communicating, and learning to care for and respect each other.
