First Tee - South Central Wisconsin

First Tee – South Central Wisconsin offers golf-based personal growth programs that include junior golf programs, golf instruction, and life skills education. The program also includes academic support and mentorship as part of its regular activities.

In 2024, First Tee – South Central Wisconsin moved into the John Flesch Golf & Academic Center, which includes classrooms, meeting spaces, Trackman golf simulators, and indoor turf practice areas. The organization’s mission is to impact the lives of young people and their families by providing educational programs that build character, instill life-enhancing values, and promote healthy choices through the game of golf. Programs integrate the game of golf with a life skills curriculum and focus on personal growth, academic support, and mentorship, including guidance toward high school graduation, college readiness, internships, and employment opportunities. First Tee – South Central Wisconsin is a youth development organization that enables kids to build the strength of character that empowers them through a lifetime of new challenges. The organization is led by Executive Director Alan Steinhauer and operates as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
