KTK Summer Kamp includes field trips, art projects, academic activities, weekly swimming excursions, outdoor exploration, outdoor play, and other engaging activities. A new theme each week is paired with field trips, art projects, and academic activities, and children take part in weekly swimming excursions, outdoor exploration and play, and healthy snacks, with an emphasis on building strong character and a love of learning. The program is described as uniting the fun of summer break with continued education, exploration, and growth, and offers developmentally appropriate activities that focus on physical, social, emotional, and intellectual growth.

Koala-T-Kare, which runs KTK Summer Kamp, is state-licensed and accredited through the Association for Early Learning Leaders (NAC) and cares for children ages 2 weeks to 12 years. Since 2013, Koala-T-Kare has consistently maintained the highest rating (5-star) through Youngstar, Wisconsin's childcare quality rating and improvement system. The mission of Koala-T-Kare states that childcare staff play a supportive role to parents and that activities are age and developmentally appropriate, with a focus on social, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth. Koala-T-Kare was set up as a corporate childcare center to provide childcare for employees of Qualtim and DrJ Engineering and also offers childcare to members of the Madison-area community.
