Mathnasium of Madison West offers math-only instruction that includes homework help, test prep, SAT® & ACT® test prep, and high school math help in subjects like Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. The program provides assessment-based personalized learning plans that are built from a detailed assessment of each student’s skill level, challenges, and academic goals. Instruction uses the Mathnasium Method™ proprietary teaching approach, with specially trained tutors using mental, verbal, visual, tactile, and written techniques in a face-to-face, supportive group environment, both in-center and online, with homework help included as part of sessions.

Mathnasium of Madison West states that it works with students in grades 1–12 and of all skill levels, and that it meets children where they are with a customized program for any level of mathematics. The program offers enrichment programs and placement prep for advanced students, and live online sessions are taught by the same instructors using the same curriculum as in-center. Its mission is to teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it, and it states that learning math and solving problems is stimulating, rewarding, and fun, and that anyone can succeed in math with the right materials, instruction, and support.
The leadership team at Mathnasium of Madison West includes Elise L as Lead Instructor, and Emily A, Caleb S, and Matthew H as Instructors. Elise L is a math major at UW-Madison and has successfully completed two professional actuarial exams. Emily A accepted an ACS-Hach Land Grant scholarship to attend UW-Madison, has been a researcher on UW’s ChemLEAP program, was hired by UW’s Chemistry department as a private chemistry tutor, was a tutor within UW’s Athletic Department providing math and chemistry support to scholarship athletes, and participated in the Badger College Educational Assistant Program. Caleb S is studying electrical engineering at UW-Madison and graduated from Middleton High School with a 4.0 GPA.
