About

Wisconsin Envirothon brings together middle and high school students for the state’s ultimate environmental science competition. Teams of four or five students take on hands-on, outdoor field exams thoughtfully designed by natural resources professionals and educators.

• Ages: 11–18 years old

Wisconsin Envirothon is connected to a mission to empower county conservation members to protect, conserve, and enhance Wisconsin’s natural resources for current and future generations. The program works with numerous partner agencies and organizations across the state and nationally, including the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP), Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), UW–Madison Division of Extension, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD).
