YMCA of Dane County Youth Programs operate at multiple YMCA branches and follow the overall YMCA mission. The programs are part of a larger YMCA network that focuses on youth, health, and community involvement. Families can access the youth programs during the standard and summer operating hours of the YMCA branches.
• Schedule: Standard hours run Monday–Friday, 5:00 am–9:00 pm; Saturday, 6:00 am–5:00 pm; Sunday, 9:00 am–5:00 pm during Labor Day to Memorial Day, with summer hours from Memorial Day to Labor Day of Monday–Thursday, 5:00 am–8:00 pm; Friday, 5:00 am–6:00 pm; Saturday, 6:00 am–2:00 pm; Sunday, 9:00 am–2:00 pm.
The mission of YMCA of Dane County Youth Programs is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all. The programs are part of a nonprofit organization of over 2,700 Ys in 10,000 communities across the United States that are dedicated to strengthening the communities they serve. The organization states that everyone belongs at the Y and highlights a focus on developing the potential of youth, improving individual health and well-being, and giving back to and supporting communities.
