German School of Madison — Deutsche Schule Madison offers German language classes for children and adults that include songs, dance, storytelling, arts-and-crafts, sports, and social activities for children and families. The program also hosts family-friendly cultural events. A summer camp for kids entering 1st to 5th grade is offered, with all Sommercamp activities conducted in German and children grouped by age, language ability, and personal interest for most activities.

The program states that it welcomes families from all backgrounds and describes its mission as making German language classes accessible to all children in the local community. Scholarships are available, and there is a listserv for German speaking families in the Madison area.
