Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA Youth Programs

Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA Youth Programs include activities such as NinjaZone, youth sports, swim lessons, group fitness classes, swimming, crochet, knit, needlework, gentle yoga, LIVESTRONG at the YMCA, a lifeguard certification course, and growing sprouts. These activities take place in a 135,000 square foot facility by the lakeshore that includes two 25-yard pools, saunas, a 24/7 Lifestyle Center, a walking track where 10 laps equal 1 mile, a gymnastics center, gymnasiums, the Pitz Family Fun Center, a Teen Zone/Youth Center, racquetball/wallyball courts, indoor tennis/pickleball courts, and childcare.

• Ages: 4–17 years old
• Schedule: Building hours September through May include Monday–Thursday 5:00am–8:00pm, Friday 5:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 6:00am–6:00pm, and Sunday 9:00am–6:00pm; June through August hours include Monday–Thursday 5:00am–8:00pm, Friday 5:00am–6:00pm, Saturday 6:00am–1:30pm, and Sunday 9:00am–1:30pm. Holiday exceptions include closures on New Year’s Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and early closings on Christmas Eve at noon and New Year’s Eve at 3:00pm.

For more than 60 years, the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA has been a unifying force in the Lakeshore Communities. Its stated mission is to put Christian principles into practice by promoting youth, adult and family activities that build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. In partnership with the Manitowoc Public School District, it offers both enrichment options and extended care options for children enrolled in 4K through MPSD. The Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA is a nonprofit organization dedicated to Youth Development, Healthy Living, and Social Responsibility, uniting individuals from diverse social and economic backgrounds with an inclusive, collaborative spirit.
