About
Eco-Explorers Summer Day Camps offers nature-related activities, crafts, games, stories, and other hands-on interactive activities. The camps include sessions such as Sense of Nature, The World Beneath Your Feet, Survivor Challenge, Wildlife Rescue, and the Heckrodt Conservation Camp, each with set dates, times, and grade levels for 2026. Programs are developed by trained naturalists and focus on the local environment through intensely hands-on experiences that are designed to foster an ethic of environmental appreciation and stewardship.
• Ages: 3 years old through 8th grade (based on the 2026–2027 school year)
• Schedule: Sense of Nature runs in 3-day sessions; The World Beneath Your Feet runs in 4-day sessions; Survivor Challenge runs 3 days; Wildlife Rescue runs in 3-day sessions; the Heckrodt Conservation Camp runs from July 14–24, Tuesday–Friday
• Price: $70–$95 per session, depending on the specific camp
