About
Zion Child Care Summer Program offers full-day summer programming where school aged kids learn, create, and grow in a fun and explorative environment. Zion offers a variety of activities and learning opportunities that address children physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, creatively, and spiritually. Children are provided with care in a clean, safe, Christian environment.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Full-day summer programming June through August, with care available during regular business hours of 6:30AM–6:00PM and flexible scheduling for the summer program
• Price: There is a $25 registration fee per child for the summer program, and this fee is non-refundable.
The Zion Child Care Summer Program takes place at Zion Lutheran Church / Zion Lutheran School in a clean, safe, Christian environment. The program is part of a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The mission of Zion Lutheran School is to lead children and their families to Christ and to aid parents in providing a Christ-centered education by training and nurturing children spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally, and by instilling Christian values to serve God and others. The program is led by Rev. Dean A. Dummer, Pastor; Peter Lorenz, Principal; and Ruth Hawk, Director (Child Care), and is described as a mission outreach into the community and world.
For enrollment, families must provide a completed Registration Form, a Summer Registration Fee Payment Authorization Form, and dates of the requested schedule. By the first day of attendance, families must also provide an Emergency Contact Information Form, a Medical Information Form, a Sunscreen Authorization Form, an Authorization to Administer Medication if needed, and any additional forms as necessary.
