Zion Child Care Summer Program gives school-aged kids time to learn, create, and grow in a fun and explorative environment. Children spend the summer making new friends and making new memories through a variety of activities and learning opportunities that support them physically, intellectually, emotionally, socially, creatively, and spiritually. The program takes place in a clean, safe, Christian setting connected with Zion Lutheran Church and Zion Lutheran School.
• Ages: 4–12 years old
• Schedule: Full-day summer programming June through August, with care available during regular business hours of 6:30AM–6:00PM and flexible scheduling options
• Price: There is a $25 registration fee per child for the summer program, and this fee is non-refundable.
Zion Child Care Summer Program welcomes school-age children in 4K through 12 years. The program is part of a congregation of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. The mission of Zion Lutheran School is to lead children and their families to Christ and to aid parents in providing a Christ-centered education by training and nurturing children spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally, and by instilling Christian values to serve God and others. The program is described as a mission outreach into the community and world.
The leadership team includes Brenna Novak, Director (Child Care); Rev. Dean A. Dummer, Pastor (Church); and Peter Lorenz, Principal (School). Enrollment requires a completed Registration Form, the summer registration fee, a Payment Authorization Form, and dates of the requested schedule. By the first day of attendance, families must also provide an Emergency Contact Information Form, Medical Information Form, Sunscreen Authorization Form, Authorization to Administer Medication if needed, and any additional forms as necessary.
