About

Camp Invention features hands-on challenges where participants explore forensic science, collect curious clues, examine suspicious splatters and create a sleuthing gadget. The 2026 program includes four experiences called Fur-ensics, Make Waves, Space Morphers and The Infringers, where participants ride the waves of entrepreneurship, experiment with hands-on physics, design an eye-catching billboard boat that really floats, build a DIY rocket, launch a mission to transform a planet for future habitation and record scientific observations in their space lab. Participants also hatch a mysterious animal egg, encounter a dazzling crystal surprise, construct a wearable cryptography device, explore forensic science with an adorable robotic capybara, team up with the Innovation Force – National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductees – to solve challenges in their community and around the world, and learn how to protect their ideas from the sneaky Infringers.
