Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club Youth Soccer Programs include soccer through organized leagues, tournaments, educational programs, and camps. The program offers youth and adult programs that involve soccer activities across different levels of play.
• Ages: 5–18 years old
Founded in 1968, Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club (MKSC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with regions throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and the guiding phrase “13 Regions, 1 Soccer Club.” MKSC offers high-quality, developmental, and affordable soccer programs to players ages 5–18, with more than 300 teams formed each season and year-round youth soccer programs of all levels serving 5,000 children across Southeastern Wisconsin. Boys and girls ages 5–18 register to play on teams that are affiliated members of the US Youth Soccer Association, and the club also offers opportunities from three to eighteen years old, from beginner to competitive adult soccer. The club’s mission is to be the best at providing people of all ages, genders, physical abilities, and backgrounds the opportunity to participate in soccer through organized leagues and tournaments, educational programs, and administrative services supported by quality facilities, professional staff, and dedicated volunteers.
The leadership structure includes a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Executive Director, and individual members representing each of the twelve regions, with each region supervised by a Regional Director. Membership is divided by region, and regions are geographically based, individually named per geographical location, and universally governed by club administration. The Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club describes itself as Milwaukee’s premier youth soccer club and a unifying and innovative force in the community, with a focus on being a respected leader in the development of children and on preserving unity in community. The club states that success is defined by community impact and being part of something greater than individual goals or medals, summarized in the phrase “One Club built through Community.”
Community involvement includes youth and adult programs, camps, and tournaments across Southeastern Wisconsin, and the club states that it strives to instill a lifelong passion for the game of soccer. MKSC and SC Wave have formed an alliance to jointly build teams to compete in the MLS Next level, Girls Academy (GA) level, E64 level, and MWC Club v Club effective for the 2023–2024 seasonal year, with the stated main objective of providing a complete player experience that allows proper levels of programming for all players to enjoy soccer. The club notes that these alliances and mergers have allowed it to expand its reach, share resources, and provide additional opportunities for players of all ages and backgrounds, and that this collaboration supports its mission and vision while contributing to the growth and development of soccer in Southeastern Wisconsin.
