Founded in 1968, Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and an affiliated member of the US Youth Soccer Association. The club’s mission is to be the best at providing people of all ages, with an emphasis on youth, genders, physical abilities, and backgrounds the opportunity to participate in soccer, and to enrich the lives of the people it serves through organized leagues and tournaments, educational programs, and administrative services supported by quality facilities, professional staff, and dedicated volunteers. Milwaukee Kickers is described as Milwaukee's premier youth soccer club and offers year-round youth soccer programs of all levels serving 5,000 children across Southeastern Wisconsin seasonally. Mikro is an introductory soccer program for young players age 3U–5U, where children ages 3–5 learn soccer and foundational skills such as passing, dribbling, and shooting through fun games, and Soccer School is an indoor winter youth program that provides top level soccer instruction for every player, regardless of skill level. Boys and girls ages 5–18 register to play with more than 300 teams formed by the club, and MKSC offers high-quality, developmental, and affordable soccer programs to players in this age range, with all experience levels welcome.

Milwaukee Kickers Soccer Club operates with the motto “One Club built through Community” and is organized into 13 regions under the idea of “13 Regions, 1 Soccer Club.” MKSC has regions throughout Southeastern Wisconsin and offers youth and adult programs, camps, and tournaments across the area, providing community-based youth soccer to families and recognizing the importance of preserving unity in community. The leadership structure includes a Board of Directors consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Executive Director, and individual members representing each of twelve regions, and each region is supervised by a Regional Director. The club is supported by professional staff and dedicated volunteers, and it offers College Scholarship Applications for members heading to college in the fall who demonstrate growth, sportsmanship, and team spirit. Through an alliance with SC Wave, MKSC jointly builds teams to compete in the MLS Next level, Girls Academy (GA) level, E64 level, and MWC Club v Club effective for the 2023–2024 seasonal year.
