The Kellogg PEAK Initiative

The Kellogg PEAK Initiative is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to bring out the limitless potential in young leaders through extraordinary experiences and nurturing relationships. The program offers a long-term, progressive journey of character development that spans from age 7 to adulthood. Its approach to leadership development is driven by best practices in social-emotional learning and experiential education with proven results, and its offerings have expanded beyond summer camp to include after-school and weekend options year-round.

• Ages: 7–18 years old

The Kellogg PEAK Initiative states that it has served thousands of youth through its programs. The organization is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all members of its staff, program participants, clients, volunteers, subcontractors, and vendors, and it does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion (creed), gender, gender expression, age, national origin (ancestry), disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of its activities or operations. One participant describes PEAK as a second home where everybody is celebrated, loved, and appreciated. A parent reports that their children love PEAK and that it positively impacts their social and leadership skills and supports their independence. A graduate shares that PEAK allowed them to experience different things, grow more confident to try new things, and feel able to confidently achieve their goals.
