About
YMCA Day Camp includes activities where campers create arts and crafts and explore science and technology. Campers also take part in physically active programs that involve creativity, teamwork, and leadership, and spend time in an outdoor environment where they can develop an appreciation of nature.
• Ages: 5–12 years old (4–12 years old at Holy Hill Area School District YMCA Day Camp, Kewaskum YMCA Day Camp, and Lumen Christi YMCA Day Camp)
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6am–6pm
Traditional camp units include Explorers for ages 5–6 years old (with some 7-year-olds in Jr. Specialty Camps), Voyagers for ages 6–8 years old, and Navigators for ages 9–12 years old. Sports and Specialty Camp units include Sports Camp Adventurers for ages 6–10 years old and Specialty Camp Adventurers for ages 8–12 years old, and these unit structures are primarily used at Feith, Grafton, and Silverbrook locations. A CIT program is available for those who have completed 6th grade and are 12 years old, who are eligible to attend as a camper or as a CIT, and campers at Feith and Silverbrook need to have completed kindergarten. Four-year-old participants are accepted at Holy Hill Area School District, Kewaskum, and Lumen Christi for an additional fee.
Camp registration opens February 1, 2026, camp begins June 8, 2026, and camp ends August 28, 2026, with dates varying by location. Parent orientation sessions are scheduled for Feith YMCA Day Camp on April 25th from 1–3 pm, Lumen Christi YMCA Day Camp on May 7th from 6–7:30 pm, Grafton YMCA Day Camp on May 13th from 5:30–7 pm, Holy Hill Area School District YMCA Day Camp on April 23rd from 5:30–7 pm, Kewaskum & Jackson Day Camp on May 9th from 1–3 pm, and Silverbrook YMCA Day Camp on May 14th from 5:30–7 pm. The program is offered at multiple school district and branch-based day camps and summer school wrap-around camps, including Northern Ozaukee, Grafton, Port Washington/Saukville, Cedarburg, West Bend, Holy Hill Area, and Kewaskum school districts, as well as Mini Explorers options at Feith Family Ozaukee Branch and West Washington Branch.
The YMCA Day Camp leadership team includes Bianka Campos, Day Camp Director at the West Washington Branch, and Ben Breuer, Day Camp Director at the Feith Family Ozaukee Branch. The Kettle Moraine YMCA states that its mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.
